    On Plaquenil, LDN and Methotrexate and the pain doesn't stop. My poor knuckles hurt SO much. Any time I use my hands they swell up and it's like stabbing pain. My.   7. I am looking to hear from anyone who has tried LDN low dose naltrexone for Sjogren's with success or failure. I am mostly interested in hearing about its impact on symptoms of dryness and glandular inflammation. I have seen a number of LDN related posts but very little follow up stories.

    Does anyone take plaquenil and LDN? I recently flared after taking 1 plaquenil a week for a few years. Now taking 2 a day again, 3 weeks in and not feeling better yet. Extreme cognitive dysfunction and I can't work. My dr prescribed the low dose naltrexone to me but I'm afraid to take it. I recently started Low Dose Naltrexone for pain and I had an opportunity to see it work positively for a Lupus flare. I was then interviewed on the radio. Nov 21, 2017 LDN is not an opiate and is not a controlled substance. It is an opiate blocker and is used in regular dosages 50mg to help patients stop abusing alcohol and opiates. However, at lower dosages it has been found to have anti-inflammatory effects, especially in the brain and around nerves.

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when I was 21 and as much as I had a bad case of it have had my colon removed and a j-pouch created since I can't imagine all that you have going on. It certainly sounds odd to have osteo in every joint.
