  5. I'm on both MTX and LDN with good results including lower ESR and CRP. Pain level dropped from 8-9 in most joints to 1-3 in fingers and toes mainly. No severe side effects except occasional fatigue and minor stomach issues.

    However, I do know from my own experience and information from my rheumatologist that Plaquenil can cause stomach upset and pain when you first start taking it. I had pretty rough stomach cramps for the first week and a half I was on Plaquenil. But then they went away, and I haven't had a problem since. Aug 26, 2016 However I told a friend of mine about it. She has MS, and it has definitely helped her in a big way. You just can’t take LDN and narcotics. LDN was initially created to help people stay off of narcotics.
